Since this program is purposed for low-income families, a family is determined deserve this program if it meets all the low-income family criteria. Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program

For elderly homeowners who have arrears on heating and utility bills, they can feel release because Florida government has Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP). Get Energy Smart Retrofit Loan Program

For those who live in Sarasota County, you are very lucky because the government offers Get Energy Smart Retrofit Loan Program. This program offers home owners in this county to get at a maximum of $5,000 loan with 0% interest rate to buy energy-efficient appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, windows and doors and furnaces. For applicants who get this program, they will also get free fluorescent light bulbs and a free Do-It-Yourself Energy Savings Kit. Home Energy Efficiency Program

Another county that has special energy efficient program is the Orange County. The Orange County Homeowners Energy Efficiency Program (OCHEEP) offers rebates up to $1,000 for homeowners who buy energy-efficient items such as ceiling fans, LED lamps and refrigerators. *Transportation

This transportation can be used to transport to and from medical appointments, shopping trips, employment, service appointments, and educational and training facilities. *Housing

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development offers a voucher housing program where disabled mother can apply.
